Words

November 2, 2023

Words are very important, what we think and speak literally create the life we live. The conversations we have with ourselves in our head are the most important words we listen to in our thoughts. Although we may never speak them out loud, they are listened to with full attention and are executed with great accuracy.

Be careful and mindful of what you speak to self and about self. What do I mean? Don’t own people’s opinions of you, it is none of your business. Please keep the words about self and others positive, empowering and kind. Heal sickness instead of letting it own you. It all start with your words.

Instead of “I am sick” speak “I am getting better,” “I am feeling better,” “I am working on getting healthy.” When you say “I am sick” your mind will produce what you are speaking/intending, you to have the disease and the disease to be part of you. Please be aware of what you are making your reality.

Remember, we can do dumb things and that doesn’t make us dumb. We can feel dumb for doing it, but definitely not being dumb for doing it. So, Instead of saying “ I am so dumb,” try “that was dumb, learned my lesson, not doing it again.”

There is an Irish saying that I love and have adopted in my life. Whatever it is that is going on in my life, it doesn’t own me and I don’t own it. “Sickness is on me,” “tired is on me,” “sadness is on me,” “sorrow is on me…” you get the point. I don’t embrace it and it doesn’t stay with me.

Speak your truths with kindness so you and the person you are speaking to can keep their dignity. There is absolute no need to attack with words, it will just cause a need to defend or attack back. So unproductive and very hard to fix at times.

Speak kindly to/about self and others. It changes life as you know it.
